Baby update

Just wanted to let you all know we have finally agreed on a name. Actually Cody made the decision. We gave him two names and he chose Drew. No middle name yet. It took us long enough to come to an agreement on a first name!

Today we took Cody to the Man vs. Beast Bullriding show in Battle Creek. He really enjoyed it, but really wanted to just sit with the horses the entire time. He got to see a bull right up close! Almost close enough to lick his face! He has been playing with his new bulls and riders his dad bought him ever since we got home. He really wanted to ride a sheep this year, but I told him he couldn't until he was 4. Not sure what I will tell him next year!

Today, Cody and I went uptown for the 2nd annual Ice Fest. We actually went down two times since they were just starting the carvings when we were down there in the morning. Cody's favorite was Thomas the Tank Engine. We got to see Winnie the Pooh, Mickey & Minnie, the State Farm Bear, a Cardinal and the rocking horse was being carved when we left. We are going to drive back through town tomorrow to see the rest of them. There were suppose to be 12-15 different ones done. It was very cold so we walked fast. One of the carvers said if it stays cold the sculptures should last 2-3 weeks!

It's a ...........

Well, we had our ultrasound today and it's a boy! Cody was a little disappointed as he wanted a sister, but the idea of a brother to share his toys and clothes with is growing on him. I told him we could go shopping and buy his brother a new outfit and toy from him and he said, "No, he can just share my stuff." His dad will love that I don't get to go buy all new clothes for a girl. We are very excited. The doctor said everything still looks great! I am measuring exactly where I should be for 21 weeks. So now we have 19 weeks to come up with a boy name!

Well here it is the new year and I haven't done an entry since Halloween! I am a slacker! Christmas went well. Cody had a bit of a cold, but still enjoyed opening his presents. He got his train set that he wanted and some horses so he was easy to please this year.
